By downloading, installing, or using AnyBook ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

AnyBook is a language learning application that allows users to scan book pages, extract text using optical character recognition (OCR), and receive vocabulary translations and learning tools.

User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use AnyBook only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the App to scan or process content you do not have the right to access
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Upload malicious code or content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by AnyBook and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you scan or create using the App. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide our services to you.

Copyright Notice

AnyBook is designed for personal language learning. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to scan and process any content. We do not encourage or condone copyright infringement.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

• You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the App Store or Google Play
• Prices may change with notice; changes apply at the next renewal period

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

• 100% accuracy of text recognition or translations
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the App will meet your specific requirements

Use the translations and vocabulary suggestions as learning aids, not authoritative sources.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnyBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AnyBook, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
